ChatVault QA is a browser extension that helps users save reusable question-and-answer content from supported AI chat websites into a local browser knowledge base.

What data the extension handles

When a user actively uses the extension on a supported AI chat page, the extension may access the visible question-and-answer content on that page in order to perform the requested save action.

The extension may store the following information locally in the browser:

• Question text
• Answer text
• Source site name
• Page URL or deep link
• Created time
• User-edited metadata such as tags or category fields, if available

How data is used

This data is used only to provide the extension's core functionality: capturing QA content, storing it locally, and allowing the user to review or manage saved items later.

Local storage

ChatVault QA stores saved QA items locally in browser extension storage. The extension is designed for local use and local knowledge management.

Remote transfer

ChatVault QA does not upload saved QA content to remote servers, does not transmit user data to the developer for analytics, and does not share user data with third parties for advertising.

Advertising and sale of data

ChatVault QA does not sell user data and does not use user data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

User control

Users can delete saved items from the extension interface or remove the extension to clear its locally stored data, subject to browser behavior.

Supported websites

The extension runs only on supported AI chat websites declared in the extension package and only to provide user-requested collection features on those pages.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect product or compliance changes. The updated version will be posted on this page.
